Only when it needs to. Wake-word detection and system commands run entirely on your device. Complex questions can be answered by a local AI model that also runs offline — nothing leaves your machine unless you explicitly connect an online provider or ask it to search the web.

Everything keeps working except actions that genuinely need the web — opening a website, searching Google, or sending a WhatsApp message. Opening apps, taking screenshots, controlling volume, and asking the built-in AI questions all work with no connection at all.

Yes. Open Settings from the menu-bar icon and type any word you'd prefer. Most people keep the default, but it's yours to rename.

Jarvis idles at under 2% CPU while listening for the wake word. It only spikes briefly when actively processing a command, then settles right back down.

Gemma runs offline out of the box with no key. For online intelligence you can plug in your own API key for Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Mistral, Perplexity, DeepSeek and more — you stay in full control of your usage and data.

Yes, directly from the app's settings panel. No emails, no retention calls. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for.
